Appointments & hours
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed Friday through Sunday. For after-hours concerns, call (419) 496-0132 and leave a message. After-hours messages are monitored.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request an appointment online at our contact page or call (419) 496-0132. We will confirm your appointment and let you know what to bring.
Where is your office located?
We are located at 926 Katherine Ave, Suite 2, Ashland, OH 44805.
New patients
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Ashland Dental Arts is accepting new patients of all ages, including children starting at age 3.
What is included in the $79 New Patient Special?
The $79 New Patient Special includes a comprehensive exam, full set of x-rays, and a cleaning. The regular value is $352. This is a limited time offer for new patients only. Call (419) 496-0132 or visit our New Patient Special page to schedule.
How do I complete new patient paperwork?
You can complete your new patient forms online before your visit through our patient registration portal. A link is available on our New Patients page. Completing your forms in advance helps your first appointment run smoothly.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a valid photo ID, your dental insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medications you are currently taking. Recent dental x-rays are helpful but not required.
Insurance & payment
What insurance plans do you accept?
We are in-network with many PPO dental plans including Aetna, Blue Cross, Delta Dental, Devoted Healthcare, Connection Dental, GEHA, Guardian, Humana, Medical Mutual, MetLife, Physicians Mutual, Superior Dental (SDC), and United Concordia. We also accept many Medicare Advantage dental plans; call (419) 496-0132 to check yours. We accept most PPO dental plans. If your plan is not listed, call us and we will check your benefits. We file claims for patients.
Do you accept Medicare Advantage dental plans?
Yes. We accept many Medicare Advantage dental plans. Coverage varies by plan, so call (419) 496-0132 and we will check your specific benefits before your visit.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer financing through CareCredit and Sunbit, which allow you to spread the cost of treatment over time. Ask our team for details.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
If you do not have dental insurance, ask about our in-office dental discount plan through Launch Savings. The plan is called Smile and Health and provides reduced fees on dental services for a membership fee. Visit our dental discount plan page or call (419) 496-0132 to learn more.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks, and cash.
Kids
Do you see children?
Yes. We welcome children starting at age 3 for dental care. We take a gentle, patient approach with younger patients to help them feel comfortable at the dentist from an early age.
When should my child have their first dental visit?
We recommend bringing children in starting around age 3, or sooner if you have a concern. Early visits help children get comfortable with the dental office and allow us to catch any issues early.
Emergencies
Do you offer emergency dental appointments?
Yes. We offer urgent appointments for patients in pain or with a dental emergency. Call (419) 496-0132 as soon as possible and we will do our best to see you promptly.
What does the $40 Emergency Exam include?
The $40 Emergency Exam and X-Ray includes a limited emergency exam and the x-rays needed to evaluate your concern. The regular value is $135. If you start treatment the same day, the $40 is credited toward your care. This is a limited time offer.
What should I do if I have a toothache after hours?
Call (419) 496-0132 and leave a message. After-hours messages are monitored. For a dental emergency that involves significant swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or trauma, seek emergency medical care.
Treatments
Do you offer dental implants?
Yes. We offer dental implants to replace missing teeth. Our team will evaluate whether implants are appropriate for your situation at a consultation. Visit our dental implants page for more information.
Do you offer Invisalign?
Yes. We offer Invisalign clear aligners for adults. We currently have a limited time offer of $500 off Invisalign treatment. Visit our Invisalign page or call (419) 496-0132 to schedule a consultation.
Do you offer sedation dentistry?
Yes. We offer oral sedation for adult patients who experience dental anxiety. Sedation is not available for children. Visit our sedation dentistry page to learn more.

Do you perform tooth extractions?
